  NXT controlled pneumatic system
 
I have posted a video of a pneumatic system controlled by a NXT. It is a system that uses the HiTechnic IRLink sensor and some PF motors to control several air valves. Hmmm, maybe they should have built it either a) where someone who wanted to keep it was located, or b) on a move-able foundation. Two other issues (maybe related): - When you move a callout with the mouse, its position is not remembered (no metacommand created). You have to first change callout position using the contextual menu (a metacommand line is created) then move (...) (15 years ago, 21-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

  LDraw.org 2009-02 Parts Update Now Available
 
The 2009-02 LDraw parts update has been now been released. This update includes 385 files in the core library, including 195 new parts, and many more files updated with improvements for Back Face Culling support. A further 8 parts have been (...) (15 years ago, 16-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad) !!

I would just like to add that this matches my experiences, although using some 4.0 version of GCC at that time: I wasn't able to produce working programs (not even sure about BrickOS kernel) using any GCC version newer than 3.4.6. There will be a draft at BrickCon 2009. It is scheduled for 5:30pm Saturday. The draft set will be 5972 Space Truck Getaway. I've been asked if I could make the patch collection updates available as a full-distribution release. Actually, I can't say that I blame that request. No, it will not work. Due to Apple's restrictions, any device that a developer wants to talk to over Bluetooth must be brand-new and approved by Apple.
