Re: L3P -check Messages and hold votes

(...) Current version of DATHeader checks this. (...) Please see the document what DATHeader is testing for at (URL) the POV code test I think it is a complete list of things that got a hold vote or at least not certified on the PT during the last (...)   Re: Brickshelf empty?

I think both policing and specializing is a bad thing. Policing, hiding stuff never solves the problems. Better bash it out in the open and deal with it. Sure, pure trolls need to go and there are limits. I moderate in Swedens largest bicycle forum (...) (15 years ago, 17-Jul-09, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Brickshelf empty?

(...) I'm old fashioned and prefer reading LUGNET through NNTP. It has both positive and negative sides, but one of the major positive sides is that you actually can easily keep track of cross-postings and posts that you have already read. And I (...)   Re: Brickshelf empty?

(...) Lately I have been posting a lot more on Eurobricks and a lot less on Lugnet mostly because Eurobricks is a LOT easier to post on than Lugnet (like all the times the authentication email takes forever to arrive or worse still, never gets (...) (15 years ago, 17-Jul-09, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Brickshelf empty?

(...) I don't believe LUGNET needs to return to what it was to once again be the centre of the LEGO universe. I signed up only relatively recently after reading LUGNET for some years and participating in the robotics section through an external (...) (15 years ago, 17-Jul-09, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: (re)Introducing 62 Bricks

(...) Ease of use, for one thing - there's no need to register to use the site Also, the site is deliberately not meant to be a "community" site - there are no forums or comments. Other sites (like this one) do that well already, but for some this (...) (15 years ago, 17-Jul-09, to lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

  Re: Brickshelf empty?

(...) I think part of the reason why things have fragmented such as they have, but not as a conscious decision by any one group or individual, is the lack of redundancy that is Lugnet. There was a period of time many years ago when Lugnet's server (...) (15 years ago, 16-Jul-09, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Brickshelf empty?

(...) At Brickworld 2009, the fragmentation of the AFOL online community was the subject of several discussions. This fact seems to be well-known to AFOLs at this point. Even the LEGO Community Team knew about this. As you pointed out, one question (...) (15 years ago, 16-Jul-09, to lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) That's only true if the polygons are the same color. If they're different colors, it's an error. I've seen official parts with overlapping polygons that are different colors. --Travis (15 years ago, 16-Jul-09, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: L3P -check Messages and hold votes

(...) I'll look into this. The !LICENCE check is case sensitive so unless you have exactly what's in the spec, it will complain. (...) The Lib Spec says that 3 decimal places is enough in most cases (4 for scalable primitives). This would be a (...) (15 years ago, 16-Jul-09, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Brickshelf empty?

Seems I was not the only one to leave this place. :( Can't see how flickr and possibility to edit posts and masking mail-addresses can be the reason for this. Does not matter if the system is slightly flawed if the crowd and quality of builds and (...) (15 years ago, 16-Jul-09, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: MLCad.ini and Unofficial parts

  Re: Minifig Segway

(...) I'm glad you like it. The parts I used are pretty common, so it (...) (15 years ago, 15-Jul-09, to lugnet.town, FTX)
