This is really well done! I enjoyed looking around the pics. I used to play backgammon as a compromise semi-skill (as opposed to pure luck) game with a friend. Check out the "Spectre" (URL) This is my 1st attempt at making a starfighter with a fixed swept-forward wing design. It probably comes off more as a futuristic jet than a starfighter. Hi all, I just upload two articles of three LEGO robots I've made, 2 RCX able to follow a light and a line, and one NXT to fight sumo.   12 Tooth bevel gear case
 
I am having the hardest time coming up with a gearbox that allows a 90 degree turn using the 12 tooth bevel gears or conical wheels. Every time i try to make one, the gears skip, or simply snap. Does anybody have a small, simple, home made version (...) (16 years ago, 2-Oct-08, to lugnet.technic)

The arc in question only covers 75degrees (5 panels, the first starting at a 15 degree angle). i managed to make it effectively with the suggestion of triangles out of technic pieces. triangles made of two 1X6 technic bricks and one 1X2 brick (...)
