  Re: LEGO fruit snacks

(...) Bummer. I have to agree with Thomas - where's the fun in that? Thanks for the info. Peace and Long Life, Tony (19 years ago, 31-Mar-07, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Studs Up Studs Down

Always had to choose between studs up or studs down in building a roof structure. Studs down mostly if interior shots were to be taken and studs up if exterior shots were more important. Finally managed to get the best of both, Studs Up Studs Down (...) (19 years ago, 31-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, lugnet.castle, lugnet.build, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

rave review of Lego creator set 4939 - Cool cars.

Just bought this small set at my local Myer for $11.95. Set comes with instructions for 3 different models. So far I have only built the car that looks a bit like a Ferrari with the gull-wing doors. Other models were a truck cab chassis and a racing (...) (19 years ago, 31-Mar-07, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: LSynth on Mac OS X

(...) Thanks. Happily, I think all these things are already available for Linux or Windows - but of course they are nicer on a Mac. :) Two key Windows-oriented tools, MLCad and LDraw Design Pad, do work in the (URL) CrossOver> demo (more or less): (...)   Re: LEGO fruit snacks

(...) I bought some and their taste and texture are bad. And nope, they don't stack. :-( They're mainly something you'd buy once as a novelty. (19 years ago, 31-Mar-07, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: LEGO fruit snacks

I've seen them, but haven't bought any yet to see if the bottoms have holes to allow stacking. If they didn't, what would be the fun? (...) (19 years ago, 30-Mar-07, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general)

Re: LSynth on Mac OS X

(...) Oh, OK. I could as well, but I thought I'd check if they wanted to put it on the same site as the original. Any way is fine by me. (...) I had no idea there was once an actual LDraw for the Mac Campaign! I don't think I even knew about LDraw (...) (19 years ago, 31-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

Re: LSynth on Mac OS X

(...) Sweet. I can host stuff. (...) Sweet. I guess I've kinda fallen off. Incidentally, the last few days I've been cleaning up my old files and I ran across the old LDMC website (LDraw for the Mac Campaign). Its been 5 years since I took the site (...)   Re: Dancing Mech Modeling/animatino LDraw/POV-Ray Video Tutorial Series

Re: LSynth on Mac OS X

(...) Wow. You're a one-man Mac compatiblity machine. I almost wish I had a Mac so I could play with all the toys you've ported. Tim (19 years ago, 30-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

  LSynth on Mac OS X

I just realized today that the (URL) LSynth source code> builds fine on Mac OS X. Apologies if this has already been established, but it's news to me. I'd previously only been aware of the PC binary version (URL) available here>. The Tk GUI works, (...) (19 years ago, 30-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

  Re: Flesh colored bricks?

(...) All those weird elements on BL have gotta come from somewhere. I never minded it as a kid and I still don't as an adult. LEGO displays are about displaying what can be done with bricks and since no child (or more than a very few adults) has (...) (19 years ago, 30-Mar-07, to lugnet.color)

  Re: Flesh colored bricks?

(...) Thanks, Aaron. Tim, Yeah, that line is BS. If I recall correctly one of the buildings in the New England Village miniland section was Maersk blue. Way before that color was available in such a diverse number of elements. Also, there is a (...) (19 years ago, 30-Mar-07, to lugnet.color)

  Re: Flesh colored bricks?

Re: Il "The Vault" in Italia

Re: Flesh colored bricks?

(...) That is indeed a flesh color, you are seeing. Though I do not believe it is the same as the minifig colors. Instead, it is an older color that originated in either Belville or Scala lines. To my knowledge, it has never appeared in any system (...) (19 years ago, 30-Mar-07, to lugnet.color)

  Flesh colored bricks?

I was poking around brickshelf and located some pix of the new Las Vegas display in miniland @ LLCA and noticed some bricks in a color I didn't recognize: (URL) there anyone who is familiar with them that might be able to confirm? Best, Jonathan (19 years ago, 30-Mar-07, to lugnet.color)
