(...) It is possible to write to the popup buffer but only by using the IOMap routine (SetDisplayPopup). The regular system calls which write to the LCD all write to the normal display memory. (...) Nathan, Yes, there are ways to do just about everything you asked. I don't think the RC motors will run at full power when connected to an NXT (which can be done via conversion cables) Personally, I'd suggest gearing up one or more NXT motors, (...) I bought the Mindstorms NXT kit at BrickFest 2006 in hopes of designing a Lego chipper. Although the sensors would make the design possible, the blade of a chipper has to turn at an extremely high RPM- and with a lot of torque. The NXT motors turn (...) (19 years ago, 24-Jan-07, to lugnet.technic)
