  Re: BrickJournal 5 is out!

(...) Thanks for the story of Malle Hawking and his gigantic aircraft carrier. It was crazy watching the building progress unfold on Brickshelf. I have always wondered about the true story behind this model and who the builder was! Spencer (20 years ago, 21-Oct-06, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

  Re: Bluetooth and windows 2000

Hi Patrick, (...) It took me a while to find a working BT dongle working with W2000 and NXT, but the Belkin F8T013 does the job. The cheap "Blue Soleil" adaptor I tried before does not work. Philo (20 years ago, 21-Oct-06, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  Re: LDView SaveSnapshot bug

I found an older version of LDView on my computer, version 3.0000B1B (a beta version), and tried that; it works just fine. Only version 3.1 seems to have this problem. Guess I'll keep using the old one until this can be fixed. (20 years ago, 21-Oct-06, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LDView SaveSnapshot bug

(...) Sadly none of the above worked, whether ignoring all options with the one switch or ignoring all of them individually. The -SaveSnapshot option is simply outputting a blank file, even though saving from the program dialog works just fine. I've (...) (20 years ago, 21-Oct-06, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LDView SaveSnapshot bug

(...) But the dialog isn't active because this is the command line I'm talking about. Saving a snapshot from the program itself while open works fine; only on the command line does it fail. (20 years ago, 21-Oct-06, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Mech Bay 11

(...) Ya know, I don't really like Mecha and I usually think "man, not another Mecha creation". But this rocks! The best Mecha thing I have seen in a long time, probably ever. Hi, I wrote the following program, and it causes my NXT to crash! If I remove the ReadSensor() call from thread check_sensors, it doesn't crash.   t3d Postpone and Dave's Battlebots Smackdown
