I had the same problem and it is most likely not LDView but your video card.

Try adding -IgnoreAllOGLExtensions option and see if it works.  If it does then
something in your video card's the problem.  Try updating to the latest driver
version and trying again without the -IgnoreAllOGLExtensions option.  If you
still have a problem then there are several "ignore" options to step through to
figure out what exactly the problem is:

IgnoreMultiDrawArrays
IgnoreMultisample
IgnoreMultisampleFilterHint
IgnorePBuffer
IgnorePixelFormat
IgnoreVAR
IgnoreVBO

Just add these options one at a time until the snapshot come out correctly.

Sadly none of the above worked, whether ignoring all options with the one switch
or ignoring all of them individually. The -SaveSnapshot option is simply
outputting a blank file, even though saving from the program dialog works just
fine.

I've noticed that no delay for parsing appears to happen when invoking
-SaveSnapshot from the command line. Perhaps this is the problem? It doesn't
seem to be reading the file at all. This may have something to do with the fact
that it's not displaying a window, maybe due to the video card telling it it
doesn't have to. Is there a way to force it to show a window, to be sure?
