set "Don't use Pixelbuffer" (on the right side of the dialog) it worked on my
notebook.

| (...) But the dialog isn't active because this is the command line I'm talking about. Saving a snapshot from the program itself while open works fine; only on the command line does it fail. (18 years ago, 21-Oct-06, to lugnet.cad)
