Re: What is your favorite MOC of all time?

(...) I was greatly impressed by Joel Kuester's Benevolent Grace a few years back: (URL) the bricklink account is no longer active, and my (admittedly brief) search turned up no current page hosting pictures of the BG. If anyone has a link, I'd love (...) (20 years ago, 6-Apr-06, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Lugnet: WAKE UP!

(...) Is there a way to moderate LUGNET discussions and lock threads? It's based on USENET, right? That means no. Most community forums have pretty good moderation systems where threads get locked once they get off topic or become flame wars. I'd (...) (20 years ago, 6-Apr-06, to lugnet.people, FTX) !

  Re: Coal Car

(...) Very nice! I can see putting my many 'yoda lips' into service and building some in sand green. New kind of lip service. . . . (...) Not any that I know of. I'm afraid I wasn't clear enough in my question. Those "names" you quote are what I call "descriptions". It's good to harmonize them too, of course. But the differences are not as confusing as different part numbers (...) (20 years ago, 6-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: 9v Update (ILTCO's involvment)

(...) "My name is Rich, and I'm a LEGO lurker." How about ILTCO asking LEGO to throw us all a bone by offering one of those ILTCO only catalog codes that gives some great discount on some set(s) like they've done in the past? This would be a quick (...) (20 years ago, 6-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Absolutely amazing quadruped robot (watch the video)

How about a biped that mimics human walking, i.e. uses its own inertia to catch itself? (URL) I recommend (URL) the videos from this mirror site>. This one's simple enough it might be possible to build it in LEGO. (20 years ago, 6-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics, FTX)

Set renders in Spring 2006 S@H catalog?

I just got the Spring 2006 S@H catalog and thought I noticed that some of the sets in it are not photographs of the models, but in fact computer-generated renders. Is this my imagination? I think it is particularly noticeable in sets like 7893 (...) (20 years ago, 6-Apr-06, to lugnet.general)

  Gara Robotica a Ballabio

Cari ItLUGgers, lo so che e' un po' presto, pero' volevo chiedervi quali erano le idee correnti per la gara robotica del Legofest di Ballabio.   Re: Lugnet: WAKE UP!

(...) I'd absolutely sign this. The way of baiting on Eric (done by some members) had nothing to do with a discussion on ToS violation. IMHO this is as despicable as the ToS violation. Might be it is a ToS violation itself. Sincerely Marco (20 years ago, 6-Apr-06, to lugnet.people, FTX) !!
