Has a Technic passenger jet like this ever been made in this large of scale before? (URL) big! Oh, by the way, its very well done too. Studless beams place in that fashion are almost exactly like the skeleton of a real passenger jet. Heck, the (...) (20 years ago, 20-Mar-06, to lugnet.technic) !

  Re: {rtlToronto 21} Tug 'O War

(...) Any thoughts on the actual rope? We were discussing something commonly/easily available (unlike the sash cord :) Something like (URL) Canadian Tire - 50 ft of 5/16" rope for ~$10. Is that too thin/flexible? Is a thicker/stiffer rope desired? (...) (20 years ago, 20-Mar-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Wow, it's like I logged into lugnet.org.us.somegu...inindiana* :) I'm not really sure where we are on this one, other than we know we're starting a contest up here.   Re: R21 - Tug of war ??

(...) My idea was to have teams of 3 or so robots, one of which could be an "anchor" robot (be allowed a firm connection of some type to the edge of the the table). But I admit, I only really liked this because of the possibility of one team (...) (20 years ago, 20-Mar-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: R21 - Tug of war ??

(...) Chris, Funny you should bring this up. We were just talking about doing this (A) at BrickFest and (B) at our club (LafLRC). It would be really cool if we could come up with a common set of rules, then we could have events within our clubs, and (...) (20 years ago, 20-Mar-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
