Re: SSC: Re: Classic timing circuits and XOR gates (long)

(...) Yes, I was just going to suggest shocks to push feet out. It would create a knee, to bend in and out as it walks. Steve (21 years ago, 9-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: SSC: Re: Classic timing circuits and XOR gates (long)

(...) Thanks! Actually Eric never said anything about the beauty factor, in fact just the opposite. I contacted him about colaborating for something with "real attitude" which is something his designs excude! I try to make my designs nice looking, (...) (21 years ago, 9-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: SSC: Re: Classic timing circuits and XOR gates (long)

(...) No plates, but the studded beams are chosen for the superior strength they provide. (...) No, and this is a problem. SSClagorpion 2 will have all the legs have the same sweep, *but* the body will not be rectangular. I've been trying to avoid (...) (21 years ago, 9-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Mercedes-Benz Actros 3353 S with Nooteboom ballast trailer, scale 1:13

Re: BrickFest -- Bring your money

(...) I would imagine that costs aren't fixed from year to year, such as facilities, services, and administration. The price of facilities rental alone in the Washington D.C. suburbs has increased at almost the same pace as the real estate. (21 years ago, 9-Aug-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

SSC: Re: Classic timing circuits and XOR gates (long)

(...) I don't care what Eric says. This is pretty just like it is. :) (sorry to stray from pneumatics) It looks like a totally studless design. (some of the beams used are studded, but could be replaced with studless) Is that correct? I don't see (...) (21 years ago, 9-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: BrickFest -- Bring your money

(...) How do the proceeds benefit all attendees? I'm not trying to be sarcastic; I'm legitimately asking the question, because I really don't know. Brickfest has been at the same place, and the attendance is larger each year, but the admission fee (...) (21 years ago, 9-Aug-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

Re: Oooo Mini-fig hands and tiles ( was Schpiffkraft Hakenkreuz)

(...) I saw it on brickshelf around christmas, someone made a star on top of a tree with it. I think a japanese guy. It is quite cool, though :) (21 years ago, 9-Aug-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Pneumatic XOR Loops

(...) Agreed. The lefmost switch of five for Pistons A serves this purpose: (URL) (...) Hmmmm... can we have an example, timing diagram and schematic on this? I don't understand. (...) Thanks for all the dialog. I love it! Kevin (21 years ago, 9-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto19: Balance of Power Tentative Ruleset

(...) Which one? I've got lots of pictures, I've just never posted them. Don't say Darth Vader, he's still not done yet. If you want a real one the only one left is the red space man. How do you zip files on a Mac? Derek (21 years ago, 9-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto19: Balance of Power Tentative Ruleset

(...) No, I forgot to change it. Another one of those things I've simply plain forgot. Damn, I'll change it tonight. I also need one of Derek's giant minifigures for the poster. Calum (21 years ago, 9-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Looking for Minifig Clone Trooper Head/Helmet

I've shown my class "Revenge of The Brick" www.treehouse.animat...n.com/rotb . One would like to replicate the Storm Trooper orchestra. We've got Darth, but we need a Storm Trooper Head Helmet. Is this in anyone's unofficial file? If so, can one (...) (21 years ago, 9-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Oooo Mini-fig hands and tiles ( was Schpiffkraft Hakenkreuz)

Casting aside the current debate, may I just say, wow! How cool is it that you connected all those mini-fig hands to that yellow 1x1 tile and grey 1x1 w/clip on that Yellow thingie on the left. Coolest LEGO thing I saw all day. Thanks. e (21 years ago, 9-Aug-05, to lugnet.space)

Re: BrickFest -- Bring Your MOC's Bring Your Money!

Ahhh, administratia! (...) That was part of my reason for posting here. See, what's happened is that I've been in the middle of southern Africa; I only got back three weeks ago, and the only thing I was able to do was actually register (then pay of (...)   Re: Classic timing circuits and XOR gates (long)

(...) Yes, the XOR gates are not load bearing, but somewhere in the body. I tried to make the legs "just follow allong", but this did not guarantee that the legs were all weight bearing when needed, and it fell. I added a switch to each leg hooked (...) (21 years ago, 9-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Pneumatic XOR Loops

I've looked at the concept of multiple XOR gates being driven by a main loop and it will work, provided that you get the enabling sequence correct. The loop must not be allowed to advance till the XOR function has moved. Therefore the air supply to (...) (21 years ago, 9-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)
