Re: LPub 2.3.0.7 available (ldGLite working and looks Marvelous)

  Re: Mindstorms history

(...) I had it in my mind that I could copy 10% of material (in this case the entire journal of which this article would be about that) to give to students and was prepared to stretch that in this case since I was the one who mentioned it, but (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: My MOCs: large scale jets, cars, and trucks

(...) Thank you for the compliments. To answer your question: the models are static, though I tend to incorporate some working features. For instance, the wrecker's crane can be raised by turning a little wheel hidden behind a door and the (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.town)

Re: My MOCs: large scale jets, cars, and trucks

(...) George, Glad to see that you like them. Those motorcycles are a lot of fun to build. They don't take too many pieces and the smallish scale forces me to get creative in using them. I am the most pleased with the police bike. I was able to give (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.town)

Re: My MOCs: large scale jets, cars, and trucks

(...) A Chevy Corvair would indeed be nice. It has a very uncluttered and sleek look, but I'm not sure whether I could get a LEGO version to look sleek enough. I used to have an F-4 Phantom, a US Navy F-4S. I demolished it about five years ago in (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Sato Plaza

Cool dio as usual. I like the use of the wall panels as wheel covers for that green car. Now if I could only spot that skin job... F (21 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: LPub 2.3.0.7 available (ldGLite working and looks Marvelous)

(...) Maybe I saved a global config, that was preserved "as is" through updates? Philo (21 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Sato Plaza

(...) snip Keith my man! You are still the master of the detail art. There's so much great stuff in here that I love, so many great little touches. I'm loving the signal signs on the big building, the vending machines, the stumpy guy, etc. Plus, I (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: 8 bit timer problem

(...) Looks like a typo - try this in your handler instead: "bclr #6, @0xc9:8 \n\t" // Clear CMFA // (bit 6 of // TCSR) I haven't really checked the rest of the code for anything else, though. HTH, Mark (21 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: LPub 2.3.0.7 available (ldGLite working and looks Marvelous)

(...) Bug report: (This happens in every version I've tried, by the way.) When you do the Generate->CSIs, PLIs and BOM, and then go do other things on your computer, LPub uses 100% CPU on the machine once it's finished, and has the progress panel (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LPub 2.3.0.7 available (ldGLite working and looks Marvelous)

(...) Here's what I did to get LDView to work. First, you need to be using LDView 3 Beta 1. LPub won't work right with LDView 2.x. In LDView, go into preferences, then to the Preference Sets tab, and create a preference set named LPub. Apply that (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LPub 2.3.0.7 available (ldGLite working and looks Marvelous)

(...) Mangled URL alert! Try here: (URL) also added a link on the main ldglite site. Look for the "Beta Version" windows executable. Enjoy, Don (21 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Mecha at Brickfest 2005!

(...) No, the room is not for "all things anime," only for mecha and related items. In other words, support vehicles, transports, hangars, weaponry, etc. If it has no relation to mecha, it should be in another room, be it space, town, or whatever. (...) (...) Wow, that's amazingly cool. I've seen retro-future, I've seen punk-future, I've seen anime-future, but I've never seen what (I hereby coin) cherry-blossom-samurai-future Wow. There are so MANY nice touches in there. As someone else said, the (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: LPub 2.3.0.7 available (ldGLite working and looks Marvelous)

(...) Is it still there in 2.3.0.7? It was supposed to be removed..... Maybe I removed it and saved a .lpb. I'll check when I get home. Yes. removing the -Z90000 is critical. LPub now figures out a value for this on the fly. Thanks for mentioning it (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LPub 2.3.0.7 available (ldGLite working and looks Marvelous)

(...) Thanks! I was hoping you'de pop in here soon! (...) Run LDView outside LPub, and edit/save your preferences. I don't think that the preferences have anything to do with view angle though. LPub communicates that to LDVIew (and ldglite) through (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Modifying the 6272c01 Electric RC Race Buggy Battery Receiver Unit with Auxiliary Output

  Re: Sato Plaza

(...) Holy smokes. Another amazing diorama to tuck under your belt. The ninja rock walls (is that what you used?) placed on an angle is novel, as well as the trans-yellow bits under the 1x2 dark grey grille tiles. You don't like studs very much, do (...)   Re: Trolley
