  Re: Moonbase corridor ideas

(...) I think having a ground floor level could be quite neat. I like the second version better. Keep the spacing the same. I do wonder about the little courtyards that could be formed by a block of 4 moonbases all with ground floor cooridors. The (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Minas Tirith scenes

Hi all, "So, Bruce, why haven't you updated your Lord of the Rings story in over a year?" "Well, I keep getting distracted by other things, but I have been building sections of Minas Tirith off and on." Well, I've been alluding to these for quite a (...)   Re: LSynth and string

(...) For POV-Ray, it seems like the best results would be obtained through some kind of mapping. Use a plain cylinder object with 'string texture' mapped onto it. Steve (21 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Moonbase corridor ideas

(...) 1 floor away from the normal corridor. One thing seems a bit off, though- you've got plates in your red/white height stacks. It looks like you've got a 2x3 plate at the very bottom, and 2x4 plates in between levels. That makes it look like the (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: LSynth and string

(...) That sounds like the best idea, if someone wants to make this file. If no one has the time or inclination, then let's not hold this process up. (...) That would be a good idea, too. Steve (hmm, I wonder why lugnet won't accept this post?) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LSynth and string

(...) Those are definitely advantages toward Larry's file. We should probably integrate Larry's code into my subfile, one way or the other. One way to integrate the part files would be to submit Larry's file as a a subfile, in parts\s\, and have the (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Sensors and other stuff

I am in a position, for a limited period of time, to make some sensors. I expect to be able to complete a hundred or so in the next few weeks.   Re: LSynth and string

(...) I know I've seen black and red LEGO string, but I've not seen multi-colored string (I'm not very worldy that way sticking to robotics and technic). Larry produced a string segment that looks a little like one of those tiny stands they get (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad)

New LEGO Pirate Site & Forum - PirateBricks.com

Ahoy, me mateys! A few months ago we (my brother and I) thought that the LEGO community needed a site dedicated to the LEGO Pirate theme. And since both of us have always loved the LEGO Pirates, we decided to make that site! We currently have a (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Sweep Building

(...) The integrated old/new building is great. And I love your solution for covering up the gaps in the roof. The interior detailing is particularly good- empty buildings always pains me at shows.   Re: BrickFest 2005!

  Re: Sweep Building

Hey Calum, And here I thought rtltoronto was all about robots and sarcastic humor. :) This is an awesome building! The transition from the curved part to the straight part is really cool. Bruce (21 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

  Re: Box repair

I recently won an auction for a 7720. The box was pretty beat up. About the only thing I could do was use a very clear, wide packing tape from Scotch to shore things up. -- Bryan "Piers Saunders" <angelus@cwcom.net> wrote in message (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)
