Hi Norbert, Again, I'm amazed both by the time & dedication you put into your art, as well as the stunning results you were able to achieve in the end. You've captured the look and the way the photo looks, too. One nit-pick - the rectangular object isn't orthogonal to the long axis of the SM, but parallel to it (extends forward). Nice work! James Wilson Dallas, TX (21 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

 | | MOC: Apollo 13, post-explosion
I posted this on .space this morning, but forgot to crosspost to .announce.moc. On April 13, 1970, an oxygen tank exploded on the Apollo 13 service module, which was on its way to the moon. The explosion blew the cover off the craft, stirred its (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.announce.moc)

You really solved some tricky problems in that hull! The shape of the deck is very complex and you managed to capture it. I have never seen the a picture of the Enterprise's hull and keel, so I can't comment on accuracy. But I think I'd prefer a (...) (...) Heh heh...if we waited for weekends that didn't co-incide with something going on, we'd have to disband due to only meeting on a single Tuesday in August of each year.
