I recently watched the movie for the first time and became inspired... (URL) Click the pic for more. Peace and white rooms, Professor Whateverly (URL) (21 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

  Re: "LEGOLAND - A Half-Life 2 Modification" needs a new name!

(...) Thanks! (...) When a piece detaches from your minifig's body, you will have to wait a few seconds before you can reattach it. That's the current plan. During that time it's more than likely you will become separated from whatever it is you (...) (21 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.gaming, FTX)

Re: Group MOC Study - Pirate Gunboat

snip snip snip... Lenny, message read, understood and agreed! Agreed on the time you wish to give a MOC when it's hilighted, less than 5 days sounds short. Agreed as well for choosing Ryan's MOC. I told him I was scratching my head trying to (...) (21 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Civil Lego Design

Besides bridges, are there any ways to use Legos in Civil design? Are there many builders that do so? Has anyone ever built a working Lego dam or utility system? What about complicated roadway designs? TLC has road plates, but has anyone ever build (...) (21 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Tall Vignette: Jumper

Thanks Bruce and Nelson. I just discovered that I had mis-remembered (and misspelled) the term; The device I was thinking of is a stereoscope, not a stereopticon. Stereoscopic images are an old means of depicting a scene. There used to be film (...) (21 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: LEGO-related blogs?

(...) I see a bit of LEGO-related stuff here, but also have to give it extra points just for the Kids In The Hall reference. :) (...) I like the look/layout of this one. I'm guessing there's more yet to come? (...) Some very slick models. :) (...) (...) (21 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish, FTX)

(21 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.loc.se)

  SCLTC's latest additions (More pictures)!

(URL) There are two new galleries of SCLTC's last show available on our website! These galleries feature a causeway with a ramped road bridge and a new round highrise near the waterfront.   Re: FLL not allowing NQC; Mindscript is allowed

(...) The issue is not "competitive advantage." The issue is whether or not it is a product of LEGO. You can use any computer you want (Dell, IBM, Gateway, etc.) because LEGO doesn't build computers. But they do offer programming environments that (...) (21 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Double Bubble...

(...) Thank you. (...) Here's Xavier Plorian demonstrating the not-very-complex-at-all seat: (8 URLs) (Click on the pics for a slight enlargement, not much sunlight around is Sydney this morning so the pics are even worse than usual). (...) Not (...) (21 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  clip on train motor

This train newbie discovered that one of the four "L" shaped clips on a train motor has broken off. (There are two forward and two aft) Is this critical? How is this clip used? (I still have the clip, and possibly could glue it back on but I am not (...) (21 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: More microstuff

(...) Heh! The plastic toy soldier analogy isn't too far off. I sort of envisioned a mini mecha army of cannon fodder in designing these - to be munched on by Bryce's cankerworm or some other horrific large creation. But I'll keep the magnifying (...)   Re: What if.....

(...) I’m an 8 wide guy so I’ll throw my opinion in here. I began building 8 wides because I wanted to have the freedom to build as wide, as long and as realistic as I possibly could. For those reasons alone I don't use train plates. The 2x4, 2x6, (...) (21 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: FLL not allowing NQC; Mindscript is allowed

(...) And in the process, could possibly _decrease_ the number of kids participating, who may feel that it's out of their league. Can you really say with certainty that wouldn't happen? Even if you think you can, I'll bet that LEGO and FLL aren't (...) (21 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: RC Car

(...) I'm really happy with the Energizer NiMH rechargeables - 2500mAh - 4 for $18 at Home Depot. I have 2 sets of 6, and I use them in my digital camera as well. I use a normal recharger - 5 hours. I'd estimate 30-60 minutes on a charge - depending (...) (21 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: FLL not allowing NQC; Mindscript is allowed

(...) Explain to me how good programming compensates for a robot that can't travel straight or that has no mechanical means for completing the mission objectives? If by good programming you mean that the program checks sensors to adjust the (...) (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics)
