  Re: Memories..la...di...da

(...) (URL) This was my first set. I love the rotating control/tracking platform in its elegant simplicity. It totally sucked me in. I bought another one before I bought a different Lego space set. At the end of 1978, I was (for the only time ever (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Grade Crossing Signal Thingy...

(...) Check the previous posts on (URL) the motorized cows. These use optical sensors to trigger cow head moooovement...I'm sure they could activate a level crossing using the same RCX optical detection scheme. -Rob A. (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.robotics)

  A Miner Problem (Pun Intended)

Hey all, I am currently working on a asteroid mining ship. The aft section of the craft consist of the engineering, living, and processing facilities. the foward section is basically a large shroud in which I hope to put a large drill like piece of (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Half-timbered house

(...) Wow. The scale of this project is amazing. You really nailed the real life building as well. I like the layered arches and the turrets. I'm jealous of your window collection, some of those sizes are near impossible to find. The sheep in the (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Pinguim: Some very interesting techniques

I hope this builder will pop in here and discuss some of his or her work. (URL) don't think I've ever seen anyone try a BL2 before! That engine has a lot of curves and slants and is a very hard engine to model in LEGO. Although I'm not an 8 wide (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Good Grief! It's Snoopy

(...) Nicely done. I like the use of hinges for the eyes. How stable is the head? Did you use a 4x4 turntable there as well? Just an idea, would tiles on the top part of his collar help keep the head stable? Now you need his red dog house to go (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Half-timbered house

(...) Right, 3 layers but only 2 radii since you use the 2x1x5x4 in both the smaller layers. That's what I thought but I wasn't quite sure from that vantage point. Another key point is that you offset the layers by only one. Many other people do a (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Half-timbered house

Hi Larry, (...) the arches are quite simpel: 1.layer: arch 1x12x3 (#6108) width 12 studs 2.layer: 2x arch 1x5x4 (#2339) with one stud distance between the two arches -> width= 5+1+5 = 11 studs 3.layer: 2x arch 1x5x4 (#2339) with no stud distance (...)   Re: New Ideas

(...) I saw that same idea and have been thinking how great it would be for a large escape pod. Just continue the design until a full circle, and add some thrusters and fins, and well you got and escape pod. This is king of inspired from the escape (...)   Cats and Lego

A bit of a random mad post so stay with me. Ok, so scanning through Brickshelf, I've noticed a lot of pics of Lego MOCs and cats. If I took the pictures I'd have the same, except my cats would be kicking the crap out of my stuff. But are Lugnetters (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

In lugnet.announce.moc, Andreas Böker wrote: (snip) Whoa! MAJORLY cool. It's like CCC on steroids! LOTS to like in that model. Spotlighted. Can you provide a shot of the arches looking up? (...) Well, that's very good Kevin, you found what happened here on Lugnet. And, that is where it started. If I had not deleted the e-mails, I would post some words from them.   MOC: Half-timbered house

Hi Lego-friends, this is my second big town-MOC. It is a half-timbered house, built after a real model from Germany. The model is located in Alsfeld/Germany. This building gripped me because of his details and his roof with all the towers. Here are (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

  VLL for RCX and Robolab

Greetings All, I've written a few Robolab .vi's that let the RCX speak VLL. There are three .vi's. The first, rcxVLL.vi, sends a number (0-127) via VLL. The other two are specific to the CodePilot and the MicroScout. These .vi's only send the (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics, FTX)

Re: Happy Christmas! from The Brick Testament
