  Re: BIA circa 2005

From: "kyle vrieze" <freze*nospam*@comcast.net> (...) Kyle, Thanks for the kind words. I like your idea about adding some mechs and mech bays. I think I'll work on this in the upcoming week time permitting. Sounds to me like you're a Blacktron I fan (...) (21 years ago, 13-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.us.indylug)

  Re: Janey's RTLToronto ROLL CALL

(...) Just to clarify before this gets totally out of hand "in the reading between the lines department" (grrrrrrrr @ Chris for ripping something out of context), "big boy bed"[1] is correct, but the other works also! *MY* definition of the (...)   Minifig hair and hats

Is anyone working on more basic minifig stuff? Seems like every other week there are new patterns available, but not some of the basics like hair and some hats. Right now I'm looking for 3898.dat, the cook's hat, and I'd like the minifig hair with (...) (21 years ago, 13-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New MOC: YF-18 Orbital Interceptor

(...) Is that a tip-off to make sure one's Military Hover Contest entry uses sand blue? The YF-18 reminds me most of Macross Plus, with the long neck. I love the shot with the AWACs and extra fuel tanks. Nice work, as usual! (21 years ago, 13-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

The Razorback (Space Wheels Contest entry)

The Razorback: (URL) Influences for this one came from some anime movies (Venus Wars and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, both have unicycle type vehicles). I think there was also a macroscale unibike built a while ago but I couldn't find it on (...) (21 years ago, 13-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX) !

  Re: BIA circa 2005

(...) I've been watching the various incarnations of this setup on Brickshelf over time. The sheer scale of it, and the fact that it never wavers from the original Blacktron colors and style is always impressive. The monorail, and monorail stations (...)   Re: Multi MPD scenes

(...) When you say "render" are you refering to in POV-Ray or seeing your models in MLCad? That I know of there is no utility to merge different .mpd files together. What I suggest is the following. 1) Move any and all .ldr,.dat,.mpf files that you (...) (21 years ago, 13-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Please release "upgrade"-kit for 8369

Dear LEGO, I recently bought the 8369 Dirt Crusher RC. It's a great car in many ways, fast, strong and fun to drive on allmost any terrain. Though I'm not compleatley happy with it. Why? Becous the range of the controller is rediculusly short. I can (...) (21 years ago, 13-Nov-04, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: tartan paint?

(...) You're keeping me in suspense. The folder is not public yet. I didn't get to the meeting, but that picture is awesome. (URL) still can't believe you spent 8hrs on a single minifig. That's dedication. Or obsession. Or both. Either way, your (...) (21 years ago, 13-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Updated Johnstown Bethgon Coalporter MOC

(URL) I've finally gotten around to taking some pics of my Bethgons with some alternate color schemes, as well as employing my son Ross' truck design.   Re: A window using SNOT and SNIR techniques

(...) This is a great, I was wondering whether loading a .pdf would be worth it (takes ages on my PC) but I wasn't disapointed. I had not really noticed James method before but the half-stud-offset-and-tile method is even better!
