Ive looked through the LDraw download list and I cant find anything that
seems to do this.
Does anyone know of a utility to render multiple mpd files all together in a
single scene?
I know I can export all the parts then import them all into a new mpd but it
is a bit messy.
Thanks

When you say render are you refering to in POV-Ray or seeing your models in
MLCad?
That I know of there is no utility to merge different .mpd files together.
What I suggest is the following.
1) Move any and all .ldr,.dat,.mpf files that you might have in your MODELS
folder to a tmp folder.
2) Export all the .mpd files that you want to use into the MODELS folder
3) Open MLCad and using the models tab drop & drag to create your scene.
4) Save the file (eg. final.ldr --- It will save as a .ldr file)
5) Open up LPUb and load final.ldr
6) Click on FILE --> Save as MPD
Lpub will create an MPD file for you!

| Hi guys, AFAIK, you still can't acces .mpd's via MLCAd's model "window" as Ahui suggested (although I haven't tried his approach): (...) But there's a neat "export" function in the file menu, where you can export .mpd's as .ldr's to a temp. folder. (...) (20 years ago, 14-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)
