  Re: OMR Submission and Storage

(...) How about two versions: 1. Follows exactly the instructions (Only substeps are submodels) 2. Modelling Version (Only moveable parts are submodels) Jeff (25 years ago, 22-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

The junk-box (was: What I'm agonna do)

(...) Here's a photo of the bag I assembled which I think we would all agree is "junk": (URL) details: - Severe yellowing in some cases (white, gray, and blue especially). - Sand or dirt or gum pushed up into the tubes in some cases. - Chewed or (...) (...) I'm not signing up yet for one of the boxes you've already advertised, but I'd like the next miscellaneous box that has a bunch of windows too. (25 years ago, 22-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: OMR Submission and Storage

(...) What's the qualitative difference between a separate group and simply putting "OMR" or "OMR Submission" in the subject line? And if there _were_ a separate OMR group, then to keep the hierarchy consistent and clean, it would have to go beneath (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: What I'm agonna do

(...) I think it's a good idea, but I probably wouldn't get in the queue for it. Perhaps a 'bright' box, to go with the 'drab' box? It may be mostly blue at the start, but it would be kinda neat to see how the color shifted(1) over time. (...) (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: 8 millimeters or 5/16 inches? (was Re: Scales)

Okay, I've done the experiment. The interstud spacing is 7.986 millimeters +- 2 microns. I built a 1 x 100 x 2 "wall" out of long Technic beams, and it measures 798.5 +- 0.2 millimeters (to which I added 0.1 millimeters to account for the fact that (...)   Re: 4150p?? 4th try  [DAT]

(...) Small, but significant enough for me to do something about. I don't have LDAO (or any other front-end, for that matter), but I did see and fix the gaps by zooming to 16 in LDraw. Here's the result: 0 Tile 2 x 2 Round with Submarine Radar (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Dutch railways models

OK, people I have decide I do not like because they keep making amazing models and make me feel inferior... Eric Brok, James Mathis, Joe Davenport Chris PS. Actually, I do feel inferior, but this does not make me dislike Eric, Joe, or James. I love (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Web Page up

(...) I think that Mookie's page is a good idea to add to the thread: we post our request in the tread, and we can go to the page to have a clear look who requested it, who already got it, instead of browsing trough dozen and dozen of mail, and that (...) This is just tracking who has what requested in what order I think the best way to do the posting of requests is as a followup to the MAIN thread post Advantage is that replys are shown in timestamp order without needing to (...)   Re: Perl rules!

(...) That's a good suggestion. Especially because it's something I can make LDAO do. As opposed to some really nifty suggestions I've received which would require changing LDLite, or would be so processing-intensive that they aren't practical. (...)   dimensions in patents (was Re: 8 millimeters or 5/16 inches?)
