Re: 1x1 round plate with clip?

(...) I've got a few of those-- however they're in my bin of clone parts :) DaveE (22 years ago, 15-Oct-04, to lugnet.parts, FTX)

Re: LDGlite and LPub (and maybe ldview?

(...) I'd think twice about making all part images transparent. Especially patterned parts don't really work, look at the images for these pics (URL) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Castle Gate and Castle Corner Tower

(...) Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and especially that you liked the brick trees: I was, and am, very unsure of them. On one hand I like the "fullness" of them, but on the other I think they might be a bit too solid and blocky. Thanks again, (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  1x1 round plate with clip?

Lokking at Nasher's awesome robots from Silent Running, I noticed the "hand" on the blue robot looked odd to me. The robots can be seen at: (2 URLs) It looks like (URL) this part> except that it has a clip like (URL) this>. This looks like a great (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-04, to lugnet.parts, FTX)

Re: Castle Gate and Castle Corner Tower

(...) Thanks Keith, I've thought about joining and posting on LUGNET for a while now, but never really got serious about it. Now I'm glad I have. Space is in the works next! - If you want a pic or two email me sometime. :-) John. (22 years ago, 15-Oct-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Library Scenes

(...) We just got a new building built and our boss won't let us do a thing. We have shelves behind the circ desk but we can't put books on them. The books waiting to be shelved we have to put on a cart. and if we're busy and put books on the (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-04, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Castle Gate and Castle Corner Tower

(...) Thanks! The gate was built over most of the summer, on and off. I put in lots of time, but it was spread in short bursts over the course of a couple months. It also involved quite a bit of waiting for the figures. (...) While making the (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  End of the Hunt

Hey All, I worked something up showing the end of BUB. Here are the deeplinks: (URL) (fuzzy Sad ) (URL) after moderation: (URL) you missed the thread that started this, see "Dragonsbane Hunt" Thanks! Josh PS. I also made another scene with this (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-04, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Castle Gate and Castle Corner Tower

(...) Thanks! I believe scenery is half the MOC! I agree that far too many castles "come right up out of the grass," and wanted to do something different. About the sizing of the wall: I tried to make it not overly huge, but a bit more realistically (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Castle Gate and Castle Corner Tower

(...) Thanks! It would indeed be too expensive to make a huge MOC with this design: Both the grey 2x2x3 slopes and the grey 1x2 tiles are fairly expensive parts in large quantities. (...) Unfortunately there isn't anything to see: It's just filled (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: sneak previews of ottawa train show

Great stuff! I'm planning on visiting the show this weekend. I'm really looking forward to it. It will be my first Lego-related event, as small as it may be :-) DJ "deborah higdon" <higdon-leblond@rogers.com> wrote in message (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.arch)

Re: Question about quality of Best Lock...

(...) Not as long as you don't mind having to adjust dimensions and ranges according to whatever scale vessels/crewmembers you're using. The official scale wouldn't make much sense if you were playing with 4" action figures, as you might end up in a (...) (22 years ago, 14-Oct-04, to lugnet.gaming)

  Re: Hermaphrodite Pin?

(...) Knowing that the LEGO Master Builders have no serious qualms about part modification, and that they do not have the ability to order custom shapes that aren't available to the public, I'd have to guess that it's just one of these parts>with (...)   Re: Hermaphrodite Pin?

(...) Yes and no. A year back or so, someone was asking if TLC had ever made 1x1 plates in orange. I could not find any, but I did try some LEGO-modification by taking a 1x1 plate with clip-lite and very carefully trimming off the clip-lite with an (...)   Re: New colours in Ldraw?

(...) I believe that is the color from the Harry Potter Knight Bus, color number 89 on Bricklink, and Lilac on Peeron. I also have it listed on my Color Tree Roots Page: (URL) were some quality control issues with this color, so the actual shade (...) (22 years ago, 14-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)
