  Re: Space Craters Baseplate?

(...) Good idea. That would probably simplify it a great deal. The problem is that Onyx (who wrote the Max2Dat) may not have that baseplate to model from. -- Terry K -- (27 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: TPM Soundtrack tracks

(...) I realize you're being nice, and it's appreciated, but just to be an appropriate party-pooper, remember that all music on this soundtrack is copyrighted. And for good reasons. -Tom McD. when replying, don't copy the spamcake. (27 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Minifigs...

(...) Hmm. The large-scale stuff that probably can't be done well in minifig-scale. Especially if it can have mechanical functions. Even some of the stuff that's already been done in minifig scale. X-wing, definitely. Even though it's been done to (...) (27 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: check out my Water Tower model

(...) The rendering looks cool. Add some engines to it, and it could fly. :-) Your posting to cad.dat.models is messed up though. Several lines have been wrapped, which causes ldlite to choke. You can fix this by increasing the line length in the (...) (27 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.trains)

  TPM Soundtrack tracks

If anyone wants a particular track from the TPM soundtrack I can put it into mpeg3 format and send it to you. Just for a little refference, track 15 which is 3:48 is about 3.5 meg. So you probably wouldn't want the last track which is 9:37 :-) I (...) (27 years ago, 15-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

new sensors available at Lego Worldshop

I saw both the rotation sensor (9756) and the temperature sensor (9755) at www.legoworldshop.com last week. I ordered the rotation sensor and it arrived yesterday. Naturally before I ordered I called S@H first, trying to avoid the shipping/handling (...) (27 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: What kind of wheels are used on this bike?

Yes, they are pullies. They most likely have a Technic spacer between them, and it would probably work just fine for making custom rims. As for the playability of that particular model, I don't care, it LOOKS cool ;-) Now if I could only get ALL (...) (27 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: Linking between FAQ items (Was: [LDraw FAQ] Who wrote LDraw?)
