Chrome sets advertised (was Re: Lego Sales RULE!!!)

(...) These are advertised in this week's Purity (Woolworths in S. Tas) grocery catalogue and hence all the stores here that didn't already have them (i.e. most of them, it would seem*) theoretically now do. I'm guessing that there would be an (...) (24 years ago, 11-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

custom sets (was: Re: Interim Trip Report - Part 2)

  Re: What's Left? (Classic)

(...) Heightwise, replacing a minifig's legs with a 1x2 brick results in something that could be an Ewok or Jawa (yah, I realize Jawas are actually smaller than Ewoks). Using a couple of 1x2 plates in place of the 1x2 brick gives something that (...) (24 years ago, 11-Dec-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Battlestar Galactica on Mars?

(...) Don't worry, you aren't spoiling the show, it was born rotten! I'm aware of the correlation between the space saga's and the star names, I was just wondering why those names were chosen over names like Polaris or Centauri, is there a (...)   Re: German LEGO Community

Bryan Kinkel wrote in message ... (...) Oh give me a break. What's the big deal? Why does Lego have to be sooo secretive about the trains.   Re: Battlestar Galactica on Mars?

(...) Hm. I hate to spoil your show, but all of the aliens in LoM are named after stars (which is also where Galactica got those names). J (24 years ago, 11-Dec-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.space)

  Re: New Track radius question

(...) I think the radius of a larger curve should be 56 studs, i.e. 16 larger than the current radius of 40 (not 20). This would put parallel tracks 16 studs apart just like they are with the current points. I haven't thought about clearance but I'm (...) (24 years ago, 11-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) And even more: it might be a hint about TLC reading "our" www.1000steine.de since 50% of ther German AFOLs seem to be train heads like me and TLC seemed to take note of that fact. :-) Leg Godt! Ben (24 years ago, 11-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.de, lugnet.trains)

  Battlestar Galactica on Mars?

Has anyone else noticed the distinct name sharing going on between life on Mars and battlestar galactica, the most horrilbe, yet strangely entertaining, space saga known to man?   Re: R: sensori touch e rotation

Grazie Guido, non avevo creato una funzione per convertire il raw in boolean, ma lo utilizzavo in questo modo. Creare una funzione apposita risulta tuttavia più generale ed è anche più intuitivo il codice che la utilizza. Ora iniziererò a leggere (...) (24 years ago, 11-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.it)

  Re: Hypothetically Speaking...
