(...) Some thoughts on muxing the inputs: The rotation sensor does not mux very well. The sensor only provides analog values that are used to increment or decrement an angle counter in the RCX. If you tried to mux this you would need to change the (...) (27 years ago, 8-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Timing 12 servos with the HB could be done. So far we are using 8 servos which don't use much cpu resources at all. But 1 compare output can only time 8 servos because of the servos timing requierments without using a lot of cpu time. So a second (...) (27 years ago, 8-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

The only problem with using individual servo control is speed, the time it takes to move 12 servos by individual commands is rather long. This has the effect of slowing the walker down considerably.
