When will TLG learn that their sets in weird packaging sell like crap?

I'm convinced the weird shaped packaging doesn't sell well because a)
people inherently mistrust "Free Mask/Cave/Stingray" claims - they see
it and think, "well, it would be cheaper if you didn't throw that crap
in" - especially since you so rairly see the non promotional set near
the promotional one and b) they're hard to wrap.

I thought it was because people mistrust products with "Limited
Edition!" plastered all over the box, but there are 50 zillion of them
on the shelf, for six months or more.

Now the Soccer sets, *those* were limited edition.
