I've given a bit of thought to the line of sight prob with the IR receiver on the RCX and have come up with an idea that should help, as long as the RCX and the IR tower have line of sight, no matter which direction the RCX is facing. My experiences with your (wonderful) program is very good. The only thing that bugs me is that the IR sensor doesn't transmit when the IR sensor on the RCX is facing the other way! I fixed this by taping the ir transmitter to the RCX, and now it (...) (27 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Did anyone know the size of the firmware (firm0309.lgo) once downloaded in the RCX? The file size says 45 kbytes, but the display on the RCX shows 1700. these two numbers do not match, which one is the correct one? and is 1700 expressed in byte? (...) (27 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)
