  A question about BrikWars robots

I've got a question about walking robots. When calculating speed and jumping power, do you use the power rating of the robot (torso) or the combined rating of the legs. Thus far, I've been using the torso rating for normal movement and the combined (...) (26 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.gaming)

  Re: Idle Powerdown

Paolo was kind enough to check into Sourceforge my changes to implement idle powerdown. The default is 15 minutes of idle time (no programs running, no buttons pressed, no LNP activity) before automatically turning itself off. BTW, in my previous (...)   Re: A question about BrikWars robots

Whenever I use the RV supp to make a robot, it seems to go about 30+" / turn. I have to tone this down by about 1/2 to make it reasonable (ground stuff should not go as fast as flyers). For jumping, your idea seems reasonable. Jason (...) jumping (...) (26 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.gaming)

Thanks Jeff! Really cool! But I can't find the .OCX link Some questions: Have you run 2 CLabs from one PC? from one application? that would proivide 16 INs/16 OUTs! Also have you pulsed the trains via the CLab, the speed control granularity is (...) (26 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.trains)

Thanks! The grey pieces came from 6339 Shuttle Launch Pad and I guess a few Y-Wings. I intend to make a few more of these things as time goes by. Thanks for the comments. I'm going to shut down the server for a few minutes as of this post (my cable provider's DHCP server is dead, and my main site is down, so I want to reboot and try to get it up). VicLUG server is on the same machine, so it (...) (26 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.build)

  Anyone know a good lizardman?

Hey all, I've been planning on converting my weekly RPG game into a Lego page and have run into a snag. Currently, my focus character is an edinos, or lizard man.   Re: Planning on a new History of LEGO Windows....

(...) Thanks Ben. That would make version 5. But I assume version 5 only applies to the 1x2x2 windows, since none of the others have been made in the 1990's? (Or were they?). I just got a LEGO package yesterday from a seller in Germany. And among them were about 50 old macaroni bricks in different colors. I was surprised to find that 5 of them were red macaroni bricks WITHOUT the missing "notch" of plastic that all of (...) (26 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) The mech I'm fielding tonight has a 32" movement (using torso power) and a 20" jump (using combined legs). The jump seems high, but 5" (using torso power), seems way too low.
