  RE: The Human Brain

I know that I shouldn't post a simple "I agree!" but... well :> I will post it anyway ;) (ok, I'll try to add something "new" to it) (...) I must say that I share the views expressed here by Thomas. I also share the views of Laurentino Martins, (...) (26 years ago, 7-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Action Sellers' Warning - New York Times

Re: who's feelin the black pack?

(...) Well then, should "white" folks view the release of a yellow skinned Luke, Han, etc. as a slap in the face? I have never, ever seen a yellow person (except for the time I had a VERY bad fever and became jaundiced). How dare they portray the (...) (26 years ago, 7-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Whew! the first time I read that I thought it said "How about we feed Larry **TO** some local fauna?" and I was getting worried. ++Lar (26 years ago, 7-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  An interesting diversion - speech!

I spent this weekend interfacing the Sensory Voice Direct 364 speech recognition device to the RCX as a sensor. Technically, it wasn't that hard. The device has 8 outputs which switch from a logic 0 to a logic 1 as each of 8 words are detected. Then (...) (26 years ago, 7-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: RC control on Pneumatics, gearboxes and polarity switches

(...) I'm not entirely sure if Tobbe was referring to the "traditional" type of mobile crane setup here - I rather get the impression, although I may be wrong, that he is intent on making a "logging truck", with a crane similar to that you get for (...) (26 years ago, 7-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: tubing

(...) Cool. Where can I read about scaling? It sounds like I just need to take one of the ends and scale it to the length I need (in this case a span of 26 studs worth of bricks from one end of the brick to the other). ++Lar (26 years ago, 7-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: tubing  [DAT]

(...) If the ends are covered, you don't need to worry too much about the end points. So you can take on of the end points and scale it to your needs, as you say. You can start with this line: 1 16 -40 1 0 0 -20 0 1 0 0 0 0 1 76.DAT and change the (...) (26 years ago, 7-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)
