I don't know... I like the fact that the weapons in the Space theme are a
conglomeration of other parts which can be used for other purposes. That means
to me that if you want weapons, you have to build them and put thought into
them. Not clip the gun into the minifig's hand, that takes no imagination.
I don't buy Wild West, Adventurers or Pirates specifically due to the firearms
that are included in those sets. That is a personal choice on my part due to
my beliefs and I've missed out on some good pieces from those themes. That was
my choice, and I'll stand by it.
If you check out my web site, you will indeed find weapons and guns of
various sorts on it. I'm not saying that there is no need for weapons in the
Space universe, I'm just saying that a little imagination goes a long ways.
