I think it would be kind of neat if they pulled the stick out of their
you-know-where and just made some freakin' laser guns. OTOH, I have always
liked the modularity of the Space stuff, and I've always bemoaned the fact
that the Pirate and Wild West SPUD weapons can't even interface with a 1x1
cylinder unless you file off the gunsight.
I sort-of wish they'd make the Space guns, but I'm not too upset about it,
since I've built some pretty neat stuff on my own.
Don't forget that you can take a minifig Drill and add a cylinder or a cone
to make a pretty decent gun (or Space Drill, for that matter)
