Well, be sure not to step on or too close to any sharks, crocodiles (a.k.a.
crocs), snakes, box jellyfish, rabid dogs, cane toads, funnelweb spiders,
redback spiders, black widow spiders, and visiting or local politicians.
;-)
That last species are not particularly nasty, but do tend to make a good
cure for insomnia if they get going on a political speech!! :o) Wouldn't
want you to miss your plane, would we now? I'm way up in FNQ so there'd be
little, if any, chance I'd make it down Sydney way. :o) Safe journey to
you, and may you find your stay in Oz a pleasant one!!
I may have missed a few species there, but I think that covers a fairly
broad range of the local wildlife!! ;-)
Be sure to bring an up-to-date guide to Aussie slang terms. I think one
could be found easily enough with that infoseek site somewhere in the US.
