After a number of posts about problems with Ebay auctions and
non-paying / fraudulent bidders, non-responsive sellers, etc.
I thought people might want to check into the article published
by the New York Times on Thursday concerning the fact that
Ebay sellers are not protected against fraudulent credit card
users.
Basically, what it suggests is that if someone uses a stolen
credit card to pay on an auction (via PayPal, BillPoint, etc.)
it's the seller who is likely to be left holding the bag.
