  Re: LEGO Cargo System

Rob - I tried liking through eBates, where I have a valid account, and didn't get the $10 off you saw. Flamingoworld has a 25% off for VISA purchased at eBags, but their link doesn't work. I see other 10% offers from there and other sites, but not (...) (26 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.storage)

  Re: Bulk Ording Downside?

(...) Right. And this is because everyone loves Rock Raiders, the new and vastly overpriced AND vastly juniorized town sets, arctic, castle, etc? Guess again. I am not touching that large castle set except at deep discount. In fact, I won't touch (...) (26 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: Autonomous Robot

(...) The proposed solution in the "Robot Tracking" thread sounds like it's exactly what's needed here. From the original post...   Re: How to clean parts

(...) First: take all your stuff apart completely -- even down to arms our of sockets and legs off of the waist part. This allows you to get into all the nooks and crannies and to not trap air in between elements while soaking. For grey and white (...) (26 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.build)

Quidditch, soccor 2 (WARNING:explains about quiddich from harry potter)

With the upcoming harry potter theme, does anyone think there will be a quidditch field something like the lego soccer fields? In the book, if I remember correctly, there are some people who hit the ball into goals (could be made with normal soccer (...) (26 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.sports)

Re: Quidditch, soccor 2 (WARNING:explains about quiddich from harry potter)

Nick We could give it a try. In the castle set we have the sorting hat, robes. In some of the town sets we have brooms?. As far as the snitch could be a bit of gold tree from some of the sets which have gold lego. The Quaffle not sure. Bludger could (...) (26 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: Pepsi Machine

(...) Nicely done! I like the Pepsi logo detail and hint of hinge on the left. The proportions are also not too far off from minifig scale. I built a replica of your design and put the "Joy of Cola" girl next to it. Gulp well, Andreas Stabno (URL) (26 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: DAT: Technic Liftarm 3 x 5 L-shaped

Two examples of this part (coloured black) will come with a soon-to-be-realeased Lego Mindstorms pack that I have been beta-testing. Cheers JP (26 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Dave McWilliams, where are you?

Has anyone had problems receiving their auction winnings from Dave McWilliams? I haven't heard anything from him since May 10. Almost thought the package arrived in June, but it was a different one from someone else in the UK. I'm starting to think (...) (26 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.people)

Re: Custom MOC kits (was: Re: Brickmania calls it quits on custom model kits)

(...) For the record, I dispute that TLC is "great at designing sets which appeal to kids or JFOLs". I think we all can recite a significant list of recent designs that, based on shelf dwell time, appear to be flops. If we wanted to, but I don't (...)   Re: A field arrangement Question!

(...) Good question that. They are not in the Expansion pack 3410, and they don't look like they'd be from 3401 (which I don't have yet). Initially I thought that graphic was representing stuff that was left over from putting the 3 packs together (...) (26 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.sports)

  light sensor LED control

I'm using NQC 2.2 (but I also had the problem with 2.1) to compile programs for my RCX. I don't see how to control whether the LED in the light sensor is on or off.
