  Re: Is anyone in Florida?

The displays at LIC are nice. I've been there several times and wouldn't mind going again, but mid-August we've got plans to go to LEGOland in Carlsbad! If it fits into my schedule around that I'd be willing to meet at LIC. Brian (...) bring (...) (26 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.us.fl)

Re: Is there an interest in a LUG in Florida?

Re: Bulk pieces (replying to myself here!)

(...) If anyone looks this up and sees the soccer set, please don't consider it a money making device. I am selling it at cost, but it is a way of getting ebay protection for a sale to a lady in Tassie who is buying it for her son. If I were (...) (26 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

Did the original LEGO bricks come in green?

Take a look at this auction, here is an excelent picture of old bricks with the windows and doors which fit in the slots: (URL) these items definitely LEGO? I know that the early bricks had slots in them, but I'm not sure if the windows were (...) (26 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Greenburg Show?

(...) either (...) I did dig out my train parts, and I have a couple of train bases, 8 bogies, a bunch of wheels, and bumpers, as well as a ton of magnets and couplers.   Re: SPACEWORLD! (name is TEMPORARY!)

(...) I like the idea of linking this idea to its obvious predecessor -- Castle World. I can see that Space World needs to be made plural, as in Space Worlds. But beyond that I see no problem with it. I am sure that there is a wide variety of (...) (26 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Edits of LUGMAP ready for review on Development Site

(...) please (...) Another "nifty" navigation feature - turn the little worldmap in the upper left of each page into an imagemap giving quick access to the different continental regions (if not that, make it a link back to the top). (...) And thanks (...) (26 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.org)

Re: Did the original LEGO bricks come in green?

I have those bricks and It comes in green (2x4 and 4x4 L bricks). I agree with you, I don´t think the windows and doors are original Lego. Manuel (...) (26 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: What's your oldest set?

(...) My oldest set is a Samsonite 703 gift set (w/ CA bricks!) from 1962 (has the original US catalog). My oldest unopened set is the 192 Policemen from 1976, which was around the time I started playing w/ Lego as a kid. I once had an Automatic (...) (26 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Rotation Sensor Values

I am using Linux. It is a minimalistic setup, but I have downloaded all of the extra stff that needs to be used for legOS. Before this error happens, legOS.srec is built, which I did not know before. Now I get errors involving the include files in (...) (26 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Re: SPACEWORLD! (name is TEMPORARY!)

(...) Good point tim, Space World does seem a little limited. And Space Universe sounds cool and all but that is kind of redundant sounding to me. It's like saying Space twice. I like the one word idea but i wonder if that will be descriptive (...) (26 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: What's your oldest set?

Thanks to eBay (it's good for something!), I have five Samsonite sets, mostly complete from what I can tell. My best set is the Samsonite Discovery set, with all those big, colorful gears still intact. Visit my pathetic little website! (URL) (26 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Castle World Stories....

Matt, I usually start with an idea and build a setting. After I have my setting, I start placing characters in it. It is my personal philosophy that the environment of the characters has to be convincing for the story to flow well. Think about it (...) (26 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Chapter 9 of the Verneer Chronicles

(...) Thanks Nathan! My pages live in chaos ... sorry :) It took me forever to find the first chapter (I did a back search on lugnet to locate it ... sad, no?) Needless to say, I'm a very disorganized person ... which helps me in my creativity but (...) (26 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: SPACEWORLD! (name is TEMPORARY!)
