  Re: Time for BFC overhaul?

(...) Oh, good! Fresh blood. :) I've uploaded a BFC-test file with the part files for a few bricks, and the primitives needed to support them. Anyone who wants to play with these files can get them from (URL). My suggestion: make a second (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: OLD doors question

(...) OK, I spent about an hour last night looking for all the old classic doors, I still have a few dozen sitting around somewhere, but I have a large enough sample to get some idea about left versus right handed classic doors. There's the (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: KBKids order limits

(...) You could just make multiple orders if it comes down to it (I've ordered from them a few times, but never more than 4 at once I think, so the rule may have been in place for a while, but I never triggered it). (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Thumbnails - Any advice?

I noticed that you're using Outlook Express, but if you have access to a Unix system (like Linux) I have a perl script that I've written that uses pbmtools and the cjpeg/jpeg stuff to create thumbnails of all files within a given directory (it (...)   Re: First draft of the Lego-Modular Train layout standards posted..

I think that Lego is getting pretty ridiculous on their protection. Lego-modular describes exactly what it is. What else should it be called? Modular train tables using ABS automatic binding bricks? That opens the door for people to use rivtek and (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)

  RE: KBKids order limits

Larry Several months back, we ordered 30 blue tubs (3033) and got the same e-mail, only they cancelled that part of the order. We had to call to find out that it was the tubs they cancelled due to order limits. We then added 10 of them back onto the (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Wanted - Part from Twisted Time Train

I'm looking for 6-8 of the black wheels used in the smokestack of the Twisted Time Train (set 6497).   Re: What 15 LEGO Pieces are still made today?

(...) The gaspump in <set:3675> and <set:3670> is a single unit (at least in the sets I have), unlike for example the gas pump in <set:134> and <set:3666> which is made from 4 2x3 bricks. Sybrand (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: What 15 LEGO Pieces are still made today?

(...) Yes Larry I am including those type of pieces, since it still is a 2x4. There are so many sublte as well as large changes (in some instances), but if you allowed no slack at all the actual number would probably be "1" piece, the 1x1 brick. (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: First draft of the Lego-Modular Train layout standards posted..

(...) When I coined Legomodular I left the hyphen and capitalization out on purpose. Not really sure why except it seemed more suitable.   Re: First draft of the Lego-Modular Train layout standards posted..

Well, it is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. I think that legomodular could be claimed as deprecating a brand more than LEGO(tm)-Modular could. Either way, it would seem very silly to have their legal department crack down on a couple (...) (26 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)
