  Re: Website

(...) The application matters to the user/browser, but not the server. The application type tells the browser what kind of app to launch. This allows a greater flexability for the end-user. See, from the server end, an application type doesn't map (...) (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.build.mecha)

Yes LEGO did make drafting paper!

TLC actually did make a drafting type paper back in the 1960's. The Architectural Sets (#750, #751, #752) each came with several sheets of this paper, which looks more like graph paper. Each box within the grid was the size of a 1x1 brick. The (...) (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.edu)

Re: Royal Knights treasure Carrier 6044 and others

As I remember it.. if the Group charter agreed to allow some type of trading then it was ok.. I don't believe we have that understanding in .Castle, though I wouldn't mind if we did.. (Correct me on this if I'm wrong!) Though this isn't trade, this (...) (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.admin.general)

(...) Did you raise a big stink when they passed those charges, and get them dropped? Maybe they have you flagged as a "handle-with-care" customer, so any unusual charges get you a call. eric (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Robot Building Instructions from the O'Reilly book

Hi, I finished computer-rendering all the building instructions from _The Unofficial Guide to LEGO MINDSTORMS Robots_. They're online here: (URL) and Hank have both been updated, so the entire set is RIS 1.0 and RIS 1.5 compliant. I used MLCAD, l3p, (...)   Re: Overcharge Battery

  Any way to reduce polygons?

When converting models to dxf format with dat2dxf, you end up with a tremendous number of polygons in the converted model. This means that any program used to view the file has *tons* of work to do. Anyone know of way to simplify dat files down to (...) (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad)
