When did the yellow dissapear from inside the 'O' in LEGO?

Go to Brickshelf http://www.brickshelf.com/scans/ and compare a 1999 • catalog
logo image to a pre-1999 catalog logo image.

Buffie at the VA store pointed it out.  Spooky ...

(Sorry couldn't resist...)
Check out L/Logo on my Lexicon for more info about the logo's used by LEGO:

The previous logo switch in 1972 also (besides adding the yellow) changed the
letters from "italicized" (slanted) to standard block letters.  And the "O"
lost its little loop.  For interesting comparisons, check out the 1973 LEGO
catalog.  It will show both types of logo's.  That was because some sets were
carryovers from 1972 and earlier.
