  Lego in the newspaper

Today's (2-19-00) Close to Home comic strip featured Lego as its inspiration. All of us should be able to relate. And on Feb 15, I found an AP photo of Alexi Lalas in a victory pose after scoring a goal in a Lego Soccer match at the NY Toy fair. I'm (...) (25 years ago, 20-Feb-00, to lugnet.announce)

Re: Who here is from Michigan?

Hi! I'm currently living in Kalamazoo. I graduated from college last spring and have been spending more time playing with Lego than I have looking for a paying job. Aw, gee.... I just put some blue inverse slopes on eBay not more than half an hour ago! Just a handful, and I believe they are 45 degree but I don't have an eye for that so I'm not sure.   Re: EMD DD40 almost done - pics up!

Hmm, I think you are little ahead of your time. Perhaps in another five years when LEGO releases larger radius track, you'll be on to something. Building to scale should be as much about functionality as well as meeting exact scaling. But I leave (...) (25 years ago, 20-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)

I've noticed this as well. At the GATS show today, I asked others to observe it just to make sure it isn't just me. I notice it mostly when the train goes through an s-curve. The front of the train doesn't surge, but the back does. I think Larry is (...) (25 years ago, 20-Feb-00, to lugnet.trains)
