Re: Brick Testament: First Glimpse of the Promised Land

Hey Brendan, Great as always. Giants: LOL on the old-style figs with the big round heads. I've got one of those from my first set (I think it was 111). I had been expecting a bunch of Hagrids or Jack Stones, but these were funnier to me. The use of (...) (21 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

(...) Hmm. I see that Bricklink does call them cherries. I've got one of these elements and for some reason I thought it was antennas for one of those insects from the Belville sets. I think I got this in an e-bay lot that had some other Bellville (...) (21 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament: Samson and Delilah

Hey Brendan, Great job as usual. Prostitute - Great face choice for the prostitute; that over-done eye shadow is perfectly slutty. The blue/white aesthetic you use for the Philistine town is very remniscent of (URL) Deborah Higdon's microscale (...) (19 years ago, 28-Sep-05, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament: the Book of Judges goes out with a bang

Hey Brendan, Nice installment, but I have to admit there's not a lot of new ground here for me to comment on. Peaceful, unsuspecting people - Probably my favorite thing in this story is the use of focused and unfocused areas of the photos in 7, 27, (...)   Re: The Brick Testament: Jesus Redux

(...) Hey Brendan, Very cool. I've been away for a week and didn't get much chance to go on-line. I'm assuming the revamp is anticipation of another book? It's great to see you go back and redo some of these with all of the extra experience you've (...) (18 years ago, 21-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament: The End of the World (and more!)

Hey Brendan, Great to see new installments so soon. Canaanite Dogs - I like the building on the right in the first picture quite a lot. What's the bowl on the left in the second picture, by the way. It's nice to see a little bit of landscaping in (...) (18 years ago, 6-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Yahoo! More BT! Last Supper - Hmm, it seems very similar to before, though the photography seems crisper. Hey Brendan, Awesomeness! Love - I really like the Oval Office, with the flag, the first family, that kalashnikov, etc. Was that curtain design inspired by Shawn Sullivan? And then LOL - you don't get a lot of Hitler MOCs. On the Klan, I think it (...) (18 years ago, 14-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Hey, Continuing on: Wealth - I like that shelf solution using clips. How is the screen attached on the computer? It looks like it's attached to a steering wheel piece. Hey Brendan, Great installments as always. My (belated) comments: Samuel is born - I like Elkanah's customizedite hairpiece quite a lot. In the second pic I'm a little creeped out by the two smallest kids, though - with all that tan around them they (...) (17 years ago, 2-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Hey Brendan, I can't believe I somehow let this slip by without commenting. I would claim that I was busy, but in the interim I commented on Barbara Werth's Rembrandt MOC, so that excuse won't fly.
