Re: The Brick Testament - David vs Saul

Hey Brendan, Another great outing. Pin the spear on the minstrel - I like the inset pillars on the wall of Saul's main hall. Also, the spear decoration is a nice idea, but I'm not 100% on the execution. I wish the clips for the third and fifth (...) (17 years ago, 6-Jul-07, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - David's Psalm of Victory

Yay! I know, I'm way behind in commenting; I'll get there. I just wanted to celebrate that you've finally taken on a Psalm. I really like how you illustrate some of the more abstract scenes (like the line about the snares of Sheol) as opposed to (...) (16 years ago, 27-Mar-08, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - David loses a new son, gains a new hat

Hey Brendan, Trying to get caught up. Eye gouger - Interesting throne for Hanun; there are some pieces I don't recognize there. The shaved beards work well (brasso or photoshop?). Aramaens - Some good action shots as always. My favorite image here (...) (16 years ago, 17-Apr-08, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: Danish Brick Testament-esque nativity story

Brendan, You mean you didn't copyright your story? Hmm, next thing the Gideons will put it down in little leather books and start leaving it in hotel rooms. :) I'd agree with Carsten. Send them an e-mail asking them if they would make a link to your (...) (21 years ago, 16-Nov-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.loc.dk)

Re: The Brick Testament parts the Red Sea

(...) Hey, Just to throw in my two cents, I'm a highly religious person who very much enjoys Brendan's work. He is being fairly true to the text*. So a view of the impact of his work really rests on your view of the underlying text. If you are a (...) (21 years ago, 26-Nov-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

(...) Hey all. Huge long thread here that sprang up while I was away. I'm tempted to respond to about every other post, but fear it's a fruitless quagmire.   Re: The Brick Testament enters The Wilderness

Brendan, Great work as always. Aaron Becomes a Priest: I love the flower-turban. Aaron looks a bit like a hippy. Hi Brendan, Good job on this story. I like the use of the rubber band. Also the one stone in the air (presumably suspended just out of the frame) works really well. Bruce (21 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament: Rebellion and Repercussions

Hey Brendan, Great as always. Second Rebellion: I really like the combination of Dooku torso with brown arms and legs, black turban, and Madame Hooch's (?) cape. The design of the censers is cool, as is the ground opening. I do think this bolt of (...) (21 years ago, 12-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)
