Re: New stories, new layout, new merchandise at The Brick Testament

(...) Great work as always. I see you got the bounty hunter pursuit. :) Looks like you got the Republic Gunship, too. That's surprising as it seems to not be a very useful set for your purposes (aside from Jimmy the Generic Jedi). I've only read a (...) (22 years ago, 28-May-02, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: New stories, new layout, new merchandise at The Brick Testament

Hey Rev, I've gotten through the rest of the new stories. My favorite details are: --The tablets Moses is carrying in your Exodus teaser shot. Those pieces work great! --The floor in "Jacob's Wives Compete" is a nice detail. --The stream crossing (...) (22 years ago, 29-May-02, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: Danish Brick Testament-esque nativity story

Brendan, You mean you didn't copyright your story? Hmm, next thing the Gideons will put it down in little leather books and start leaving it in hotel rooms. :) I'd agree with Carsten. (...) It would, of course. I was mainly just being sarcastic. (...) Here I would actually disagree. I've been to a large number (let's say about 33, because this comes up every Christmas) of church plays put on by the Sunday school kids, at (...)   Re: The Brick Testament parts the Red Sea

(...) Hey, Just to throw in my two cents, I'm a highly religious person who very much enjoys Brendan's work. He is being fairly true to the text*. So a view of the impact of his work really rests on your view of the underlying text. If you are a (...) (21 years ago, 26-Nov-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

(...) Hey all. Huge long thread here that sprang up while I was away. I'm tempted to respond to about every other post, but fear it's a fruitless quagmire. Rather than hit any of the theological points of issue, I just wanted to address this one, (...) (21 years ago, 4-Dec-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

(...) Pretty much. I was away for the holiday and only logged in briefly on Saturday. So I new my site had been picked, but I wasn't really in the forums at all. Brendan, Great work as always. Aaron Becomes a Priest: I love the flower-turban. Aaron looks a bit like a hippy. My favorite beast is the ram--I've always like your upsidedown construction on these (I think I noticed this first in the cows in (...) (21 years ago, 6-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Hi Brendan, Good job on this story. I like the use of the rubber band. Also the one stone in the air (presumably suspended just out of the frame) works really well. Bruce (21 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: Brick Testament: First Glimpse of the Promised Land

Hey Brendan, Great as always. Giants: LOL on the old-style figs with the big round heads. I've got one of those from my first set (I think it was 111). I had been expecting a bunch of Hagrids or Jack Stones, but these were funnier to me. The use of (...) (21 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament: Rebellion and Repercussions

Hey Brendan, Great as always. Second Rebellion: I really like the combination of Dooku torso with brown arms and legs, black turban, and Madame Hooch's (?) cape.
