Tony, This is pretty ingenious! I purchased Znap 3591, 3571, and 3552 for the purpose of gleaning the motors and wiring from the sets. I was pleased to find a few gears, axles, and pins as a bonus. I thought I would take a shot at building some of the models before trashing the (...) (24 years ago, 25-Sep-00, to lugnet.znap)

I just went to TRU (to get a motor, actually) and ran across a major clearance sale on the Znaps. They were selling two different sets with motor (a black helicopter and a green something) for $9.95 each. It was even more amusing, since they were (...) (24 years ago, 16-Sep-00, to lugnet.znap)

Well, I went through and finished inventorying the 12 ZNAP sets I bought, but I haven't yet finished putting them into my new database (MS-Access 2000) to find out which parts I need to scan and which sets they are from, as I haven't mixed (...) Rob, I got all the "bulk" Znap I could use buying sets at TRU for $10 to get the motors out of them. As TRU is still selling these sets, i'd imagine that it's going to be hard to sell the pieces off.
