  Re: Lukewarm Interest

(...) Dave, Can you be more specific regarding the sale TRUs in your area are having? Are they selling Znap sets with motors below the $10 each level? Is there a published sale (i.e., in a TRU flyer)? I'm trying to keep tabs on Znap at my local TRUs (...) (24 years ago, 16-Sep-00, to lugnet.znap)

  Lukewarm Interest

Several local TRU's are having heavy-duty clearance sales on Znap--along the lines of all-you-can-carry-for-a-dollar, or something like that. Why, do you suppose, did Znap not succeed? It seems that among Technic fans there is considerable interest (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.znap)

  Re: ZNAP... anyone? anyone?

Well, I went through and finished inventorying the 12 ZNAP sets I bought, but I haven't yet finished putting them into my new database (MS-Access 2000) to find out which parts I need to scan and which sets they are from, as I haven't mixed (...) I am interested in the 3x5 grid sections in Black.[1] I would like to get a hell of a lot of them.   Re: ZNAP... anyone? anyone?

Rob, I got all the "bulk" Znap I could use buying sets at TRU for $10 to get the motors out of them. As TRU is still selling these sets, i'd imagine that it's going to be hard to sell the pieces off. Couple that with the limited useability of the (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.znap)

  Looking for ZNAP sets

I went crazy on ZNAP and am missing some sets. I cannot find the following: 3505 Aeroplane 3506 Motorbike 3510 Polybag 3521 Racer 3554 Helicopter 3555 Jeep 3582 Ant I got the other 12 sets and have already cataloged and inventoried them. I was (...) (24 years ago, 17-Aug-00, to lugnet.znap)

TRU in Fresh Pond Shopping Mall (Alewife, MA) had the larger sets (as of yesterday), i.e. #3591, #3552 and #3571 as well as some 3581 Formula Z Car in Storage Box (no motor).   Technic & robotics-compatible LEGO ZNAP clearance at TRU

Lego made ZNAP sets about years 1998-1999. Some pieces snap together while others fit with Technic pegs and axles. They make sturdy frames that do not pull apart during movement, especially useful for robotics. Looks like Lego will use TRU to unload (...)
