Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Pete White
     (...) Or is that a transparent base brick ? Let's hope so. (22 years ago, 9-Feb-02, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.belville)

Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) Frank, where did you see pictures? best LFB Also: Pete, are the fires out, finally? (22 years ago, 9-Feb-02, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.belville)

Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Frank Filz
(...) You might be right, it does match the color of the 6x6 roof which is definitely trans blue (I'm guessing this is actually the new trans blue that Belville has which is a little darker than trans light blue). If so, it would be really cool, and (...) (22 years ago, 9-Feb-02, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.belville)

Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Pete White
(...) Take 4 of them and use them in the middle of 4 (24 x 24 w 1/4 circle cutout) green base bricks from 5987, or that's what I'm planning. (...) Must say I wasn't expecting orange base bricks in Belville, but Arctic did use many orange elements (...) (22 years ago, 10-Feb-02, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.belville)

Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) It definitely looks like a plate. Given that the mold is new, I wouldn't be surprised if they're getting mileage out of it. That polar bear in the big set looks nice and menacing for minifigs, too. (...) That looks to me like the new medium (...) (22 years ago, 10-Feb-02, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.belville)

Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Pete White
(...) Not as menacing as a Duplo polar bear ;^) (...) That was my first thought. It's always hard working out the colours from box artwork, especially the size of the images on lego.com. (22 years ago, 10-Feb-02, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.belville)

Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Frank Filz
(...) Umm, someone's confused here. Pete and I have been discussing the 12x12 quarter circle base brick in 5850. I seriously doubt they've changed to a plate. Perhaps you're thinking about the 8x8 plate in 5838. (...) It's somewhat larger than the (...) (22 years ago, 10-Feb-02, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.belville)

Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) You don't have to be so diplomatic, because it's obvious that I'm confused here. :D Yes, I'm thinking about that. I'll go back and look at it again--a trans-medblue brick would be really neat. (...) Ack. I'm not sure I like it anymore. I (...) (22 years ago, 10-Feb-02, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.belville)

Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Frank Filz
(...) :-) Yes, a trans blue base brick would be super cool. That would definitely be close to the biggest transparent piece (the large quarter domes are still larger though). (...) Another minus about it is that it is all rounded and such which (...) (22 years ago, 10-Feb-02, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.belville)

Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Pete White
(...) I guess it's meant to simulate ice, since the princess is skating about. Imagine 4 of these quarter circle base bricks with a light source below. (...) Fetch Frosty, fetch. Go get the stick. (22 years ago, 10-Feb-02, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.belville)

Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Wes Loder
(...) Vanilla, prince, one more male figure I believe that the figure that comes with this set is Elvira, not Vanilla. Princess Vanilla has brown eyes and parted lips (teeth show). Elvira is the one with blue eyes and wears blue. Looks like three of (...) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-02, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.belville)

Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Jeff Stembel
(...) Also, there is either a new spoon element or a hairbrush in white in the set. I'm leaning towards it being a spoon. :) *starts planning on making a Lena minifig from Chrono Cross...* :) (...) I'm pretty sure this is "turquoise", rather than (...)      (...) Now that I've got a new Shop at Home catalog, I thought I'd add additional comments... (...) purple 1x1, pink 1x1, lt blue 1x1, yellow 1x2 (...) 4 white 1x1x.6 Scala foam connector (...) Hmm, the sink doesn't show in this picture. The picture (...) (22 years ago, 21-Feb-02, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.belville)

Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Wes Loder
(...) Not to pick an argument, but LEGO S@H in their catalog description blew this one. Note that the figures in 5832 and 5842 are both clearly identified as Vanilla in the titles of the sets. Both figures have blonde hair, _brown_ eyes and upper (...) (22 years ago, 21-Feb-02, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.belville)

Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Greg Perry
(...) I too am interested in the story behind the King pictured in the new S&H catalog. He is referred to as "the king" in the description so something obviously happened to the old (in both senses of the word) king. Look at that cocky son-of-a-gun (...)           Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Steve Bliss
(...) lol. I just assumed this was a *different* fairytale castle/kingdom. Or maybe it's in a parallel dimension, where kings live much longer than in our world. Notice the counterpart to the witch from the previous product line. Obviously, a (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-02, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.belville)

Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Deidre Rushton Brumby
(...) Ahh, but the Queen Rose looks like Princess Rosaline to me. So obviously Prince Justin did run off with the stable girl after all, and Rosaline married another. I reckon good old King whatever-his-name-was just bit the dust from old age, or (...) (22 years ago, 24-Feb-02, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.belville)

Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Shiri Dori
(...) Frank and everyone, You got any pictures of these, or any link, online? Sadly, I don't get the S@H catalog shipped to Israel. TIA! -Shiri (22 years ago, 5-Mar-02, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.belville)

Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Frank Filz
(...) I just received these today. A few real quick notes... The light blue is not the light blue from Mars, it's a greenish light blue (I think this appeared before in the Scala set Carla's Winter Camp). Below, medium blue refers to the blue in (...)          Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Frank Filz
(...) I'm settling in pretty well in Oregon. I've been starting to get active in church. I've now really officially joined PNLTC (as in actually paid dues) and have been to a few get togethers.         Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Greg Perry
(...) Where and when? Do you know what set? Peeron only lists the orange clams from the SW sets. I also have the white ones from the Beach Accessory pack (5387) and the light green ones from the Fairy Tales Accessory pack (5399). Haven't seen the (...)         Re: New 2002 Belville Sets —Frank Filz
(...) I think the green in 5399 is what I've been calling mint green. We really need a good solid set of color names. The first step of course is to identify all the different colors. Steve Barile has a bag with examples of each rare color. I need (...) (22 years ago, 18-May-02, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.belville)
