  Re: Bayonet Pictures!

(...) Thanks for the info Nate. What you said about the variety of uniforms used by the Confederate army is one reason why I'm not obsessed with trying to recreate any truly authentic LEGO look-alikes. I think having the grey kepi and torso is (...) (24 years ago, 21-Apr-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Bayonet Pictures!

(...) ....... (...) Hey Everybody, The Confederate artillery doesn't necessarily have to have red kepi's. They can have any color hat really, but they do have some sort of red marking on them. Some wore a red band around a grey kepi, or around a (...) (24 years ago, 21-Apr-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Bayonet Pictures!

(...) I've been asking myself that same question - what the heck am I going to do with all those extra Axle, Bandit, Jets & Sparks mini-figs? I'm thinking that my nephews are about to get a load of Rock Raiders dumped on them. And how about a (...) (24 years ago, 21-Apr-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Bayonet Pictures!

Greg, I think your pics are sweet, I was out of the country so I missed them the first time. What do you do with all of the left over Rock raider parts? The heads are useless, except the scowling bearded guy, because they've got mic's on their (...) (24 years ago, 20-Apr-01, to lugnet.western)

  Indian Mini-Fig Facial Features

I'm sure that somewhere along the way this has been discussed before but it's something that I only recently noticed and really "thought" about: Having looked closely at my Indian mini-figs heads and then studying the other heads I have (seems like (...)   Re: Bayonet Pictures!

(...) Thanks for the latest round of photographs Jon. I meant to post a praise after the first set. Ever since first starting to build my Confederate troops a few months ago I've been eager to stage a battle scene. I actually want to attempt a stop (...)   Bayonet Pictures!

Alright folks, after assessing the damage inflicted during their last failed charge on the Confederate cannon emplacement, the Union soldiers went back to camp and got out their Wacky Tack (commonly used to affix lego posters to the walls of their (...)   Re: Civil War Photos

(...) I especially like the Confederate soldier who is using the butt of his gun. Has anybody done a good Napoleanic/Victorian battle scene? I am trying to get together enough red Imperial soldiers to do a British colonial scene -- like redcoats (...) (24 years ago, 14-Apr-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Civil War Photos

Jon, I love it. Such a cool scene. I have been trying hard now to collect my own set of confederate soldiers ever since I saw your original post. I am up to tweleve soldiers, but alas no gray kepis for the guys. Gotta keep cheking the TRU near me. (...) (24 years ago, 13-Apr-01, to lugnet.western)

  Re: Civil War Photos

Jon I love the pics! Keep up the great work. I wish I had the time to get some more pics up myself. No need to apologise the south was always out numbered I think that they are used to it. (...) (24 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.western)

  Civil War Photos

Well since my last post didn't really generate any heat, here are some pics of a little diorama I mocked up a little bit ago. It's a union infantry charge into a confederate cannon emplacement. I apologise to the southern sympathizers out there, but (...) (24 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.western) !

(...) Thanks on the wedding. Hopefully no kids for a while so I don't know how to answer you on that one. As for the best set to make alternates from (with out picking fort legoredo) I would have to say would be 6765 Gold City Junction or 6755 (...) (24 years ago, 10-Apr-01, to lugnet.western)

Hey, It's been a while since there was any posting here! What is this,a ZNAP discussion? I know that we are all busy, but it's getting depressing. Speaking of busy, I noticed on your websites a couple of you guys got married recently! Congrats on (...) (24 years ago, 6-Apr-01, to lugnet.western)

Re: ???Where did the HORSES go???

Thanks for all the info on where to acquire cheep sets that contain Horses. And yes, I am a member of Lego Shop @ Home. Nevertheless, this simply won’t do! My army is well over 800+ troops, and I need about 45 black horse, 20 white horses, and 15 (...) (24 years ago, 26-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.western, lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.town)

Re: ???Where did the HORSES go???

(...) I would have considered the Flowers & Trees accessory set far more fundamental to general LEGO building than horses and the latest version of that went the way of the wind as well.
