(...) What! No WAMALTC? I you have to be kidding, it's in their house:) And there is a lot of other clubs missing too... Wake up guys, Robin W GFLTC (21 years ago, 29-Jul-03, to lugnet.trains.org)

Re: BF 2003 Container Swap —John Gerlach
(...) Just a quick FYI from the GMLTC: I'll be bringing containers to trade, but since we are an 8-wide club (in fact I think we were the *first* 8-wide club), we would be perfectly happy receiving stickers in return. Thanks, and see you in a couple (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jul-03, to lugnet.trains.org)

Re: BF 2003 Container Swap —Teunis Davey
(...) Is this Lego Train Club container swap a yearly event ?? I would like more information , for the 2004 swap . Container size , LTC's, etc. Australian Lego train clubs ?? I know I may be a bit early ! But I don't want to missout . I would like (...) (21 years ago, 30-Nov-03, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.loc.au)

Re: BF 2003 Container Swap —Larry Pieniazek
(...) IIRC, you're a member of the nascent M>LTC, right? The containers are the standard 4x8 containers that LEGO uses. (1) These are somewhat on the small side, especially for clubs that work in 8 wide, but it's sort of tradition at this point. (...)         Re: BF 2003 Container Swap —Ross Crawford
(...) Thanks for the info Lar. How does this generally work? Do all clubs that register bring enough containers to swap with all the others? Or do you choose who you want to swap with beforehand? Also it looks like some clubs swap stickers, M>ltc (...) (21 years ago, 30-Nov-03, to lugnet.trains.org, FTX)

Re: BF 2003 Container Swap —Larry Pieniazek
(...) At BrickFest 2003 in DC we did an "incremental swap". Search for posts by Rob Hendrix around that time, he posted some very good explanations. Basically, in an incremental, suppose that there are 10 old (already have each other's containers (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-03, to lugnet.trains.org, FTX)

Re: BF 2003 Container Swap —Teunis Davey
(...) I'm thinking about going to the brickfest in Portland. I just have to see what a plane ticket costs. And the other expences. Do we make one container for each LTC ? Or 1 container for each member off all LTC's ? And how do I put a order in for (...) (21 years ago, 2-Dec-03, to lugnet.trains.org, FTX)

Re: BF 2003 Container Swap —Larry Pieniazek
(...) (I changed that, the TM is strongly encouraged) (...) I am not aware of any stickers that one applied to all containers. Some clubs may have chosen to put things on theirs.          Re: BF 2003 Container Swap —James Trobaugh

Re: BF 2003 Container Swap —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Ditto for MichLTC and myself. As to stickers/containers (J2's post elsewhere in the thread), I have to say that I find actual containers a lot niftier. Much more tangible memento of the actual event. (21 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.trains.org)
