| | Re: Redesigned Intermodal Car
| (...) Not using power leads works great. I came up with a couple solutions last year, including one that uses a Bic pen clip, is super cheap, and is very low profile. Also, you don't have to damage your track (!). (URL) More info at: (URL) Rick (...) (21 years ago, 18-Jun-03, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

| | Re: Layout Design Question
| (...) Yes, it does -sort off-. The switch only turns power on/off for the two inside rails. the two outside rails always remain electrically conductive. Since the outside rail goes all the way round, you would create equal polarity on the track that (...) (21 years ago, 18-Jun-03, to lugnet.trains)

| | All Lego Ack Circuit for LDCC
| Hi All, One of the features of the LDCC firmware is the ability to read the configuration variables out of a DCC decoder installed in a train motor. In order to do this, you need to connect a small circuit consisting of one or two resistors from the (...) (21 years ago, 18-Jun-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.robotics.rcx)

| | Layout Design Question
| I was thinking about setting up my second LEGO switching layout, with this one based on a prototypical track layout which features what amounts to a reverse loop. The loop area serves several industries and the lead into the loop goes to a yard, (...) (21 years ago, 18-Jun-03, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

| | Re: Train Jr?
| Have to get a closer look when I'm at work with a T1. I did have a chance to notice the snow plow. It looks like there is a special wheel between the other two. Perhaps it is used to drive the blade on the snow plow? That would be cool. Also the (...) (26 years ago, 26-Dec-98, to lugnet.trains)
