Got inspired to work on a model of the German Federal Railways DB V140 diesel hydrolic locomotive. Primary pieces to make this model of the DB V140 come from: 1. 4551 9v train locomotive a. the two cab faces b. red-ribbed 2x2 bricks 2. 5571 Model (...) Hi All, I just completed my arrangements for Brickfest and was wondering which other train heads would be there! This is my first BF and can't wait! I just converted my first engine to DCC yesterday and started playing with LDCC 1.01. LDCC is fantastic! Thank you, Mark! I installed an AD330 N-Scale decoder from Model Rectifier Corp according to the directions on Tom Cook's site. At 0.8 Amps this (...) Try & ship the lego in the picture below, its like $25 in a box, theres over $300 worth just sitting there, covering my bed! I'm happy to say I'll be able to show off more MOC's soon, as I ALSO have THREE packages of my own lego coming, over $50 in (...) Just lately someone was (is?) selling a large 12V lot, including one 7735, and 2 extra cars for the 7735. I was interested in the cars, but he wanted to sell the lot as one.   3 New buildings for GATS in January
 
Well I have complete 2 new buildings for the GATS MichLUG display in January. And got a good start on another. The first was White with Blue trim: (URL) second, which I will be changing the design soon is a Townhouse style building. I wanted to make (...) I would agree about as loud as a 9V motor. It is a droning white noise buzz. Do you remember the vintage Kenner Tie Fighter? Kinda like that. The lower the battery gets the louder it is up and down those ramps too. (23 years ago, 27-Nov-01, to lugnet.trains)

All these polarity-switching solutions presume only 1 train. If you've got 3 trains, and each of them is hitting a block boundary at the same time, you're going to have a short no matter what you do. Best solution for DCC is to get your insulated (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jun-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.trains)

The UK prices are now displayed on the website, High Speed Train £69.99 and Cargo Train £99.99 (plus shipping of course). It's a shame you can't order them without the speed regulator and track for a lower price. Much as I'd really like both sets I (...) (21 years ago, 28-May-03, to lugnet.trains)
