The way I did the GMLTC coaling station uses those bracing rods (in red
in the newer shuttle pad) for this.

| (...) the (...) Thanks for the insight, Larry. Mind mind is definitely drifting toward the same bracing rods you speak of, but in black, as from the Outback Airstrip. I think the super low slope roof bricks from that set would add a nice dark grey (...) (25 years ago, 4-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)
