Get used to the feeling, Chris! All bets will be off when the death knell finally sounds for the 9 volt train system. I am already preparing for that scenario with my LEGO gauge one project. Hey, I’ll call it my LEGO Gauge One Project. LGO! Kewl.

But back to lighting. I really am for all-LEGO solutions when they are viable. Yeah, LEGO makes lighting, but they just don’t work in illuminating applications. I suppose if you had literally 100s of them, they would, but that’s not going to happen, now is it ($$$;-)

Actually, my “purity” bubble was burst years ago when I visited LLC for the first time. All of the windows in miniland-- NON-LEGO. Train track, wheels, motors, etc-- NON-LEGO. I always say: if non-LEGO is good enough for TLG, it’s good enough for me:-D
