Gee, I hope the current 9v system isn't being replaced by something
incompatible... we'll have to ask at BrickFest. But if there really is
an RC train system out there, that doesn't necessarily mean 9v is dead.
The RC trains could be aimed at the DUPLO crowd to compete with the
Playmobile train.
